Builder's Choice

Builder's Choice offers two simple and classic bracket options in many finishes. These brackets are included with wall rails at no charge.

Builder's Choice wall rail brackets are installed into studs for security. Brackets may not be evenly spaced on the piece of wall rail depending where the studs are.

The brackets are installed at the same time as the staircase or rails. Your painter will remove them for final paint, and then reinstall the brackets and the wall rail.

Architect's Choice

Architect's Choice wall rail brackets are a step up from Builder's Choice. This bracket level provides options for a stream-lined look with more concealed hardware.

These brackets are installed at the same time as the staircase or rails. Your painter will remove them for final paint, and then reinstall the brackets and the wall rail. These brackets may take slightly more time to reinstall than our standard Builder's Choice brackets.

There is a small upcharge for this category of brackets.

Premium

There are many bracket options in the marketplace, and we have selected a premium-level bracket in the style we see in the highest demand. If you find other brackets you would like to use, we would be happy to review if they would be a good fit for your rail.

For our Premium bracket offerings, price will vary depending on the style selected. Brackets in this group add labor upgrade costs since they require layout and take considerably more time to install. Premium wall rail brackets are laid out per piece of rail and centered on each rail section. They will require additional backing, and will be installed on a separate trip — after the final paint — to ensure that they are installed properly.

Materials and Finishes:

• Stainless steel brackets are a high quality 304 or 316 grade
• Brushed brass brackets have a clear coat applied to arrest the oxidizing process
• Flat black brackets are stainless steel with a dry coat paint applied
