Designed Stairs is constantly developing and innovating technology. We developed a concentric, protracted, laser measurement system in 1987 that predated current, universal standards. Many stair companies are still using obsolete measuring techniques. In 1990, we began using CAD (computer-aided drafting) on our designs and have several experts on our staff. Developing exact job-site measurements is the first step toward an impeccable circular stair design.
